Salaria Sport Village

On the occasion of World Swimming Championships Rome 2009 sports centers have had the opportunity to expand its facilities with new pools to be used for the international event. The executive project for the Sporting club Salaria Village consists of a large rectangular volume of two levels of environments and Related Services to the deep swimming pool that covers the central location of the building with access to the ground floor. On the first floor take shape around the pool changing rooms for athletes. The second level is dedicated to the guest house designed and finished with attention also to the disabled. Physiotherapy center, sauna, gym, conference rooms, kitchen and restaurant, they are all related services that enrich the pool of comfort necessary to ensure that athletes, like the audience, they are at ease during the length of the race for the World Cup, but also yet to find a use once finished the sporting event.
